Our Church Mission: “Growing God’s Kingdom”

         Site Under Construction

Our Founding Scripture:
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, (he) they are a new creation;
the old has passed away, behold, the new has come!    2 Cor 5:17 (RSV)

Welcome

We are a new Lutheran church committed to growing the Kingdom of God. We stand on Biblical truth, understanding that we are all sinners working together to grow in faith and share Jesus Christ with others.

We’d love for you to join us at New Creation this Sunday. We know you might have some questions about what to expect when you visit. So take a look around and we’ll see you on Sunday.

What Else Happens on Sundays?

Coffee Fellowship
A great opportunity to help and visit with the congregation is at the weekly coffee fellowship that follows the Sunday worship service. Volunteers are responsible for making and serving the coffee, serving kool-aide and picking up and serving the donuts and cookies. Once the coffee fellowship is over the volunteers clean up. There are sign up sheets, so if you are interested in volunteering some Sunday, please do. You don’t have to be a member, and it is an excellent way to say Hi to the congregation and for them to meet you! Contact Marilyn at 346-3923.

Potluck Sunday
Once a month we have a potluck. We all look forward to this Sunday as it gives us a great opportunity to visit with the members of the church while sharing some great food. Volunteers help set up the tables, and chairs, make coffee, and set up the food prior to the potluck. After the potluck the volunteers take down the tables, chairs and clean the kitchen. If you would like to join our potluck team contact Hazel at 346-5284 or Marilyn at 346-3923.

Worship Team
This team is responsible for setting up for Sunday morning worship that includes welcome table items, communion items, Bibles, announcement sheets, etc. We also make sure there is someone signed up for the various tasks -greeters, ushers, serving communion and those who oversee the welcome table. If you are interested in joining the team contact Jennifer Howey at 346-3981.

Praise TeamPraise Team
The Praise Team has the privilege of leading the congregation in songs of praise each week. We meet on Thursday evenings in the Garden at 6:30 pm for practice, fellowship, and devotions. On Sunday mornings we arrive at the Garden at 8:30 am to set up and practice before Sunday worship. We always have room for more growth and additional members, so if you are interested in learning more about the praise team or joining our group, please contact Greg Larson at 346-4456
.

IT4 Worship Ministry
This group is responsible for what you see on the screen during service. Worship uses computers and projection equipment to help tell stories for the glory of God! I.T.’s a HIGHER-tech calling to work with software, hardware, projection and sound. Help is needed for setup and execution on Sundays, picture and motion picture archiving of events and more. Contact Dave Howey 346-3981.

Theater Clean-up Team
Every Sunday, following the worship service, the clean up team do some light cleaning duties at the Theater. Duties include vacuuming, general pick up, cleaning windows, turning off lights and locking the doors. The work is quick and light but this task is key to being able to worship in the theater. If you could help out one or two Sundays per month please contact Mark Slettebak at 346-4220.

Sunday Offering Counting
We gather together after coffee to record and deposit the offerings. If you don’t mind crunching a few numbers, help put the deposit together and can help one or two Sundays a month please call Pete Lindberg at 346-2794.
